Hi, my name is Leonard Rudl and I am a junior technical game designer with a particular interest in systems design and programming. For me, video games are as useful as they are fun, and I believe they are essential to our society and to our artistic and cultural heritage.
School Projects
Veggy Delivery
3/4 top view car game in which you have to carry a load of fruits and vegetables to the end of the level within a time limit. You must dodge obstacles along the way to avoid dropping your load.
For this project, I mainly worked on game design, level design and programming.
Serious Game VR
Serious game in VR aiming to help patients suffering from elbow extension motricity. Using a calibration phase, the game balances itself based on the patient’s capabilities.
I took on the role of lead programmer and game designer assistant on this project.
Lord Of The Flies
Gestion mobile game in which you lead a cult on an island, your role is to assign members of the cult to specific actions each day, to convert or kill every member of the opposing camp before the sixth day.
My responsabilities were to be lead programmer and game designer assistant on this game.
Personal Projects
Echoes
First person 3D platformer/enigm in which you use 3 types of echoe to highlight what is around you and navigate the level.
I worked alone as a solo developper on this project, from design to implementation.
Puky
Side view 2D platformer in which you have to escape an hospital. You must navigate the level to find every access card while eating human along the way as you are constantly starving.
I worked on game design and level design during this game jam.

If you want to know more about me, here are a few hobbies of mine :
Langages learning : I love to learn new langages and I think it's fascinating to discover new cultures and mindsets, as well as diving into the country's history.
Cinema : Although it's quite more recent, I developed a certain interest in watching movies and series and trying to understand how they're made, how the story is built to create emotions to the viewer.
Basketball : As a kid/teenager, I played basketball for 8 years. This sport helped me a lot on several aspects and thaught me respect, efforts, team spirit and many other things. Nowadays, I don't play often but I still know my way around the court.
